Coeur de pirate

The young and captivating Beatrice Martin better known under the name “Coeur de pirate” is one of the featured artists of the Francofolies de Montréal. Born in Montreal, Quebec, the singer made her debut in music playing the piano at the age of only 3 years old. Six years later, the pretty blonde started studying at the Conservatory of Music in Montreal and then joined the group “December Strikes First” at age 15.

After finishing her art, literature and communication studies, Beatrice Martin recorded her first album, “Coeur de Pirate”, which received a Felix award. (Reworded)

Her kiddo face and her enchanting voice conquered the Canadian and international audiences, winning numerous other awards such as “Female Artist of the Year” in 2011 at the NRJ Music Awards. She also earned several awards in 2012 at the ADISQ.
